About Days like this event decor
The name for the company Days Like This was first created by my late grandmother, Donaciana. In September 2017, on my 30th birthday, my grandparents gave me a hug and wished me “muchos dias de estos”, Spanish for “many days like this”. I found it somewhat strange that they did not directly say “Feliz Cumpleaños” (“Happy Birthday”), but I still welcomed their celebratory message with gratitude. Unfortunately, the next day, my grandmother suffered heart complications. She passed away a few days later.
Months later, as I reflected on the events of those grieving days, I remember the words that my grandparents told me on my birthday: “muchos dias de estos”, many days like this. For me, their message reflected the importance of treasuring each day and building memories with friends and family. This is exactly the love and joy that Days Like This Event Decor is committed to represent with our clients and the community as a whole.

Meet pansy almaraz
Hello there! My name is Pansy Almaraz and I am the entrepreneur behind Days Like This Event Decor. As the eldest of 20 grandchildren on my father's side of the family, I remember at early age organizing and planning small family events for my cousins to participate in, such as fashion shows, dance recitals, and even a Christmas play!
In 2011, I attend the University of Houston-Main Campus (Go Coogs!) and received a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. Five years later, I graduated from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin with a Master's of Business Administration.
In 2018, as the maid of honor at my sister's wedding, I was in full-force-planning mode with her bridal shower. I quickly realized that buying decor items from Hobby Lobby can be pretty expensive, especially if I was just going to use it once. That is how the idea of my company started.
